Music is sound that is received by the individual and vary based on history, location, culture and tastes of a person. True definition of music is also diverse:
The sound is considered good by the hearers.
Any noise that is produced intentionally by a person or group and served as music.
Some people think music is not tangible at all.
Music according to Aristotle has the ability to reconcile a troubled heart, has a recreational and therapeutic foster patriotisme. Elements of music are::
1. Tone
The sound can be divided into a tone that has a certain pitch or tuning by frequency or by the relative distance to a high pitch tone benchmark. Tuning differences between the two tones is called the interval. The tone can be set in the scales vary. The most common scales are the major scale, minor scales, and pentatonic. Fundamental tone of a musical work to determine the frequency of each note in the work.
2. Rhythm
Rhythm is the arrangement of sound in time. Bar is a division of the beats in time. Time signature indicates the number of beats in a bar and note which ones are calculated and considered as a single tap. The tones can be accentuated by the provision of certain pressure (and duration distinction).
3. Notation
Musical notation is written depiction of the music. The beam notation, pitch depicted vertically while the time (rhythm) is depicted horizontally. These two elements form the staves, in addition to clues tones, tempo, dynamics, and so on.
4. Melody
Melody is a series of tones in time. The circuit can be sounded alone, ie without accompaniment, or can be part of a series of chords in time (usually a series of high tones in these chords).
5. Harmony
Harmony in general can be said as the incidence of two or more tones sounded simultaneously with different height, though harmony may also occur when the tones are sounded in sequence (as in the arpeggio). Harmony of three or more tones sounded simultaneously is usually called a chord.
